As of now there is no official before or after party planned for 2026 Texas Fruit Festival. However, there is a 99% chance that there will be events whether numerous guests from Texas Fruit Festival gather both before and afterwards.

Expect a high probability of there being a before-festival party on Wednesday evening, April 29, and an after-festival party all day and all night on Monday, May 4.

Please make sure you join our WhatsApp group to stay in touch with our large and growing community of festival attendees.

Some of our food will be conventional and some will be organic. Any produce where the skin / peel is eaten (like leafy greens, cucumbers, grapes, tomatoes, apples, etc.), will be sourced organically. Some fruits will be sourced conventionally (for example it is quite difficult for us to find the varieties of mango, pineapple and papaya in an organic option).

We have multiple supplier relationships, including with local, regional, national, and even international sources. Indeed, much of the best produce we find we source directly from Mexican farmers.

We will have a transparent informational sheet that anybody at the festival can reference, which will be posted, and will contain information about all of the produce at the event:

  • Is it conventional / organic
  • Country of origin (if we have access to that information)
  • Name of farm (if we have access to that information
  • If it was treated by irradiation, or any other information which would be good to know

We are committed to maximum quality, affordability, and transparency, when it comes to the fruits and vegetables served at Texas Fruit Festival.

Due to making the best use we have of the space, and the comfort of our guests, we are not granting any permissions for booths or vendors at 2026 Texas Fruit Festival.

Casa de Luz sits on 1 acre right next to downtown Austin, Lake Austin, Barton Creek natural springs, and numerous walking trails. For over 30 years, this has been a community center and a place for natural healers to gather in Austin.

There is a whole-foods plant-based restaurant onsite, a cafe and cacao meditation lounge, a juicery, sauna, hot and cold plunge, a courtyard area, numerous indoor spaces for activities — plus lots of areas for seating, lounging, relaxing and taking in the beautiful scenery.

Yes — the durian party cost is not baked into everybody’s ticket price. Because everybody doesn’t love durian, or it willing to pay a premium cost to access exotic, imported fruit that is costly to transport. This simplifies the situation and allows us to have a durian party in a way that is equitable and fair. You can add this to your ticket when you check out. Crew members / volunteers who want to attend the durian party also need to purchase a separate add-on ticket.

Your ticket gets you access to unlimited fruit, salad bar in the evening, plus all talks and workshops activities within the fruit festival. If you wish to attend the durian party, it is a separate ticket. Massage therapy will be available in a limited amount by donation basis. There are other amenities on the property which you can also experience at an additional cost working directly with those providers, such as cacao bar, juicery, whole foods plant based restaurant, and sauna & cold plunge.
